hey glimmer, i look forward to your spicy saturdays every week!! if you have time, would you mind doing smut #8 for obikin or codywan? so excited!
Yessss! #8 was “I didn’t think you were into that.” I ALSO accidentally wrote #22 for smut (”Are you doing that on purpose?”) when it was supposed to be angst, so I’m included that here, too, because they’re both Codywan. Established relationship. Only lightly spicy.
“I didn’t think you were into that.”
Cody blinked. Obi-Wan seemed unconcerned about the conversation, sprawled back in the sheets they’d thoroughly destroyed, one knee drawn up, an arm stretched back over his head. He was flushed, all down his neck and over his shoulders, eyes heavy-lidded.
It was the closest Cody ever got to seeing him relaxed. Seeing him so always felt like a kick in the center of Cody’s chest. But that was….unrelated to the subject at hand. Cody tried to arrange his thoughts - always difficult in the moments directly after they tangled together - and swallowed.
It was even more difficult, apparently, to wrangle a thought if Obi-Wan happened to mention that he liked--well. Being manhandled, to start. Cody cleared his throat, “So you just...weren’t going to ask for it?”
Obi-Wan’s breath caught, oddly. He blinked up at the ceiling and said, voice steady, “I quite enjoy what we do, already. I’ve no desire for you to do things you don’t enjoy.”
Cody considered the burn down his spine, rising quickly, for how recently he’d just come, and asked, shifting over to lean across Obi-Wan, into his line of sight, “Who said I wouldn’t enjoy it?”
“Are you doing that on purpose?” The question slipped out before Cody could stop it. He hadn’t meant to ask, in fact, he’d been trying very hard not to think about what Obi-Wan was doing at all.
It had just proven impossible.
Watching Obi-Wan sit across from him in the little room where they were stuck for the conceivable future, absently turning Cody’s blaster over and over in his hands, dragging fingers along the barrel and back again, endlessly--
Well. It was impossible not to watch him. Cody hadn’t commented when Obi-Wan reached out and took his blaster from his holster. He obviously should have. Each movement of Obi-Wan’s hands felt deliberate. And it was ridiculous, really, for Cody’s gut to be this tight, just because Obi-Wan was stroking--
“Doing what?” Obi-Wan asked, all innocence in his eyes. Obi-Wan blinked up at him, finger brushing across the trigger guard, avoiding the trigger itself all together, which was funny, in a sharp way. Cody quite felt like someone had a finger on his trigger.
They stared at one another for a moment, and then Obi-Wan crooked one corner of his mouth up, and asked, “Do you have concerns about me inspecting your weapon?”
And Cody rolled his eyes, because sometimes Obi-Wan was ridiculous, even as he pushed away from the wall, deciding, “I think it’s time you moved on to inspecting something else.”
