SNJ-2 has been going poorly. 

First, the white spray that I bought was wrong, not made for plastic. So when I took the mask off,the white paint came with it. This was on the wings though, which had a base of the white under the yellow. So the whole thing had to be stripped and then re-painted. 

Then I dropped it, which broke the cockpit roll support, as well as the chin scoop, which is gone forever. So things are not going well on this one.

Thirdly, on Easter Sunday, my Iritis acted up badly enough that I was blind in my right eye for over a week, bad enough that I still have trouble with my depth perception, which makes working on detailed hobby stuff all but impossible for the time being. So there’s that.

The SNJ-2 is one of the rarest versions of the SNJ/T-6 series aircraft. Only 61 were ever built. N415NJ "Lucky's Lady" is one of an estimated 9 that are still airworthy.

Italeri SNJ-2 Texan, 1/48. 

As I said before, this one turned into a nightmare of peeling paint and broken lost plastic. I didn’t want to weather it too much since the group commander plane would be kept pretty clean. Included a couple of shts with the Revell SNJ and Italeri Harvard.
