SNOCIETY: TOOLS I USE TO RUN THE BUSINESS

Jess posted a detailed post on her blog giving a rundown of the tools we use to run Snociety. You can read it here.

Jess is the mastermind behind Snociety. She does all of the hard work and she makes it run. I literally would not be able to do it without her. And I wouldn’t want to. 

Owning a business together has been one of the hardest things we’ve ever done. And I think that when it’s all over - it’s going to be one of our most cherished memories.

One Year After Snociety

It has been one year since Jess and I closed our poke and boba shop in Little Tokyo. Here are some fun facts I learned about myself one year after Snociety.

1. I love to write and read.

Ending Snociety was the catalyst for taking my blogging more seriously. It also allowed me time to dive into all the books I wanted to read.

2. I prioritize my podcasts.

I devoted myself to elevating my podcast production and episode output. I made time for guests and put effort into pushing my podcasts.

3. Jess and I are still dreamers.

Jess and I still dream about a boba shop or owning and establishing a physical space or store. 

4. I can eat poke again.

It took me 9 months to eat poke again. With Snociety gone, Pokinometry reigns supreme.

5. I look at boba differently.

Boba is not just a treat for the weekend. I like to observe how cafes run their businesses. 

I am thankful for the opportunity to dream and create with Jess. And I am thankful for my family and friends who have supported us along the way!

Snociety's Goodbye Party and the Unexpected Call

Snociety: Weekly Schedule

Writing at foreigncreatures.com, Jess detailed her weekly schedule for running a restaurant. For anyone who wants a deeper look at running a business, as well as a peek into the busy-ness of running our lives, this is a must-read. 

I have a feeling that we’ll be looking back at these posts one day and wondering how we were able to do it all. By the grace of God, for sure.
