     Peter doesn’t know what’s gotten to him today. Usually, his adventures with the Doctor and Talia are fun, but today…something’s off about him. Maybe it has something to do with the nightmares he had before he forced himself to get up, rubbing the sleep from his eyes even when he’d hardly even slept. They just have to go ahead and RUIN the rest of the day. It’s not fair, he doesn’t get why he can’t just be NORMAL for once, a normal teenager who doesn’t get shaken awake by nightmares when it’s dark out with no one around to see him calming himself down. He doesn’t want to be completely normal…being a hero is the BEST thing that’s ever happened to him, but in his mind, heroes are supposed to be stronger than this. That’s what makes him the odd one out. 

       Apparently, his current state isn’t hidden very well. He’s never been that good of a liar. He TRIES his best ( it’s a miracle his identity hasn’t been revealed to the entire world yet ), but despite his efforts, everyone can always see through him. And with the way he’s sitting down, hardly saying a THING, when he’s usually talking up a storm, the way his expression looks, it’s painfully OBVIOUS that he definitely isn’t okay today. 

He’s zoning out when there’s a sudden, slight pressure against his shoulder that snaps him back into reality. A quick glance to the side, wide brown eyes locking on a hand against him– Talia’s hand– the other standing right next to him. His lips stretch into a tiny smile, although it’s obviously FORCED. He doesn’t say anything for a few moments, because as much as he doesn’t want to admit his own struggles…it’s nice. “Um– hey, Talia–” He stutters. “Uh….what’s up?”
