Apollo is a massively terrifying robot from outer space. BUT the fear is dulled a bit just because Tom realizes how intelligent Apollo is. But it doesn't stop him from thinking the robot is a pompous upstart that if it HAD a nose, it would be turned up at everyone and so high in the air that if he rained, the robot would drown. However, he does think Apollo could be useful, either with knowledge or just having a lean robot from outerspace stomping around.
