Q: Your Jigglypuff icon is triggering me. You should take it down so I don’t have to look at it anymore. A: No, I can’t. I have no problem with posting trigger warnings for things like rape, murder, etc., but I absolutely refuse to conform to Tumblr’s completely over-the-top political correctness by tagging/removing content that is not in any way inherently offensive. IT IS A PICTURE OF A JIGGLYPUFF. Being bothered or upset by something is not the same as being triggered. (Side story: I actually saw someone getting dogpiled by Tumblr SJWs one time for refusing to post a trigger warning for the name ‘David’. I’m not joking.) And while I disagree with people who take the “I refuse to trigger warn because you need to grow a backbone and get used to it anyway” approach, if you have PTSD or any other type of anxiety disorder, the onus is on you to avoid triggering material; it isn’t on the rest of us to censor ourselves to make the world as friendly as possible for you, because IT’S A PICTURE OF A JIGGLYPUFF. A trigger is something that causes a specific psychological reaction (i.e., painful traumatic flashbacks); it isn’t just anything that makes you sad, angry, upset, or offended. tl;dr, if you want me to post a trigger warning for something, I will; however, I’m not going to post trigger warnings for fucking ridiculous things, like the color blue or Spearow.
Holy fucking shit. Their icon in question is a Jigglypuff staring at the viewer, blood flowing from it's eyes heavily. I guess people who are triggered by eye trauma are SJWs, huh? Why can't they have NORMAL triggers like everyone else?
And don't even get me started on the "it's your job to avoid triggering material". Like, yes, but... You can't Tumblr savior someone's avatar away??? You can't?? Expect someone to duck and weave and try to take no responsibility for tagging things/removing triggering content?
REMOVAL GUIDELINES- Submit a unanon link to the original source, proving ownership of the picture, then please tell me why youd like it removed. PLEASE BE POLITE AND PATIENT.
Holy shit, you are the one who has posted something someone made on a site without permission, to mock them, and you expect them to ask politely??
the world is about getting opinions and critiques on things you do, if you don’t ever want an opinion just never post it
Actual fucking quote from a Bad Fantroll mocking blog's mod when told they should stop. Apparently posting pictures with no comment or just writing "wake me up inside" is critique?
literally every bad fantroll blog when they first start: hi!! this is a blog for bad art, but we'll critique it, not just mock
literally every bad fantroll blog two months later: 95% of posts are without comments, any time they do comment they say "wake me up inside"
literally every bad fantroll blog when they first start: DONT LEAVE THE SIGNATURE ON!! some jerk will send them hate!
literally every bad fantroll blog two months later: lol i wouldn't worry about that signature, its unreadable, its only in arial new
literally every bad fantroll blog when they first start: if someone wants their art down, we'll do our best to remove it, but we have to have the post number so we know which one you mean
literally every bad fantroll blog two months later: lmao fuckass say please or ill mock you
Why is it that bad art blogs get so entitled? This is from a FAQ, I forget which one exactly. but there isn't any point in posting their URL anyway - That'd be inviting hate.
how do i ask to get a post removed
ask politely and give us the post number. i’m not gonna remember your deviantart name. if you’re rude, you’re going to be made fun of. if you don’t give us the post number we’re just not going to remove it until you do
You are the ones who've posted someone's art and mocked it. You don't get to be like that.
