Listen here, yu beautiful soul. I haven’t even been active on here for like a year, and I can’t honestly believe you remember me! But I remember you, and I remember how giving and positive and absolutely wonderful you are. Not to mention such a great writer! You’re always so generous with your time and your advice, and you always care so deeply about your friends and followers, and I will never forget the render you did of me and @eromai and @hissrading last christmas! 

I really and truly hope more people in this fandom know how wonderful you are, because you deserve the best reputation, and the best in all things.

With all the fucking crazy going on in the world, it was nice to have a little quiet time. Or, as quiet as things were going to get, when you were camped out between the forge and the training grounds.The clang of metal on metal echoed from both sides from sun-up to sun-down- it was enough to drive a man mad. Stuffing his ears with cotton helped, but he could only endure that for so long before the itching started, and he had to pluck them out again.

Finally, when he could take no more for the day, the Bull fetched his draft horse from the stables and saddled her up for a trip around the little basin Haven was tucked away in. She could use the exercise, and he could always use a new fur throw for his bed, considering Krem had ‘borrowed’ his for the past two and a half weeks.

The Bull grunted as he hauled himself up onto his horse and settled his heels in the stirrups. With a kick of his heels and a soft, cooing cluck, they were off down the little path, kicking up clouds of snow and fallen pine needles as they made their way out to where the druffalo roamed.

A little black, plastic box rests mysteriously where a box was not before. On one side of the smooth, cool plastic was a switch that could be ticked back and forth. Another side had three notched wheels that could be turned, with a single button that could be pressed and depressed. On the third side were five smooth buttons that felt and sounded like popping bubble wrap, while the fourth side was a single large button that could be wiggled. (Fidget cube.)

He spends a moment fussing with the various sides, pausing for the longest on the switch. Soon enough, he pockets it and goes about his business.

Later that day, he can be found having zoned out over a pile of notes from a meeting, absentmindedly ticking the switch back and forth while contemplating the window.

It is his new best friend.

A bit like this, I think. Mind, I have no idea what makes a good military uniform and parts of the armor are based more on sports gear than armor, but this is what came to me. He also has a belt with his gun and his baton but I didn’t wanna draw it!
