Okay, I'm trying to think how the initial meet up between adult!Jason and adult! Piper would be when Annabeth comes to the Grand Canyon guns ablazing looking for Percy, only to find two adults and Leo. How do you think that would go?
Here’s something I wrote that I was going to use in a fic for them but that I don’t think quite fits the narrative flow:
“Piper had flirted with Jason relentlessly ever since that day at the Grand Canyon, where he’d suddenly woken up as a teacher in charge of a rowdy group of students and she’d suddenly appeared as a tour guide. He remembered the first time he saw her, standing in the information centre and smiling at him in a way that made his heart race. The gleam in her eyes was almost predatory, and throughout the tour she’d kept on making inappropriate comments that he had prayed would go over the student’s heads. (They hadn’t, which just made his job harder.) Poor amnesiac Jason had been flustered and flushed and had no idea at all what he was doing; his glasses had kept slipping down his nose, when her shoulder brushed against his he found himself entirely incapable of looking her in the eye, and then of course the whole thing had been topped off by the attack.
Their arrival at Camp Half Blood had been a whirlwind of questions and plans, of trying to figure out who they were while simultaneously figuring out how they fit into this entirely new reality. Flirting had taken a backseat.”
As for their first impressions of Annabeth, I’m going to use @lililibird‘s words because they’re beautiful: Piper’s would be “get this tiny screaming hardass out of my sight.” and Jason would “probably think she’s humorous for acting like she’s in charge when she obviously shouldn’t be”.
