How to lose a guy in 779 days
I had to write a short piece for my class and decided i would write a draft of one of my favorite scenes from the snowdrop novels for it. Because its for class, ive used their human names, i hope thats okay 🥺 i thought id post it for people to see since you already know about this event, as a treat sneak peek ehhehehe for those who care. Unfortunately i still had to censor some stuff, sorry! I tried to do it in a way that was still readable. Below the cut ill say whos name is who. This scene will probably change a lot by the time it’s actually released so dont worry about reading it now.
Justice for Candyheart
This happens every time the mission calls stealth as optional. Every. time. Mirror prefers subtle approaches to infiltrating a corp's facility and extracting the objective with a gentle touch.
Meanwhile, Snowfire and Manco prefer to kick in the door and cause a distracting panic, steal stuff, get the objective, and then run out the building, hiding among the fleeing herd of employees so they're not caught. It frustrates Mirror that this kind of plan does work.
ever think bout how aesthetically, Akaza and Kyojuro are positioned as opposites AND as pieces of a larger puzzle. Kyo has a sunrise/sunset color scheme, Akaza has twilight tones. Day and night are opposites that blend into one another. Kyojuro's got summery flames, Akaza's got wintery snowflake compass. Seasons ebb and flow in a cycle. Akaza, along with most demons, quietly craves the kind of warmth humans like Kyojuro can give, yet daylight burns demons to a crisp. Kyojuro is the sun ...
they are so perfectly built to challenge one another's worldview
