34. If you had to delete one year of your life completely, which would it be?
Oh man, this is the corniest of answers, but whenever I think about the years that sucked the most, I come to the conclusion that I wouldn’t delete them. I learned from those years, and grown, and most importantly, survived them. And in amongst the bad shit, there are good experiences that I would never ever want to have erased.
Then I was like, third grade? That sucked. I was intensely bullied by someone that year and I’m pretty sure I’m still affected by that today. But then, if that year never happened, I wouldn’t have gotten my motivation in fifth grade to do better than my bully in the class reading program and toppling her permanently from her #1 spot for books read, and consequently breaking the school record that year for amount of electronic bookshelf tests taken by one student. Bettering yourself through spite, that is the Nyquil way.
Um… how about fourth grade. I don’t remember anything of notable about fourth grade/being nine.

Honestly though, a big part of the reason I’m doing this (and the sideblogs I contribute to, queeringstarwars and acesinspace for that matter) is for the next generation of queer nerdy kids coming up and attaching to Star Wars as their escape/coping mechanism like I did in middle school when things started going bad for me. The GFFA got me through some tough shit even without canon representation. Now there are actual canon characters, and I want to make it easier for the next generation of kids to find them.
