1. WHO IS YOUR FAVOURITE CHARACTER IN 2 (DS9)?
Bashir. I admit he’s a bit of a dick in the first few seasons but he’s so adorable! Like a little overenthusiastic and (slightly illegal) puppy.
2. WHO IS YOUR LEAST FAVOURITE CHARACTER IN 1 (CSI)?
I’m going to have to say Riley. Not that I have anything in particular against her, but she was suffering from a chronic lack of not-being-Sara, so she was never going to be a particular favourite. And then she wasn’t around fr long enough for my opinion of her to improve.
3. WHAT’S YOUR FAVOURITE EPISODE OF 4 (Doctor Who)?
The two that immediately come to mind are The Shakespeare Code and The Unicorn and the Wasp. If I had to pick, I’d probably go for Shakespeare over Agatha Christie (now that would be an interesting episode).
4. WHAT’S YOUR FAVOURITE SEASON OF 5 (Wallander)?
The second (Of three. Nine whole episodes). Sassy Hiddles plays a large part in this choice, I must admit. That and Rupert Graves.
5. WHAT’S YOUR FAVOURITE RELATIONSHIP IN 3 (Voyager)?
Tom and B’Elanna. They’re so cute and amusing.
6. WHO IS YOUR ANTI-RELATIONSHIP IN 1 (CSI)?
To be honest, any of the team together other than GSR and Wedges (And sometimes Morganders, depending on how I’m feeling). But if I had to pick one I really don’t like, Grillows. They’re friends. And she’s totally not interested in him like that. And he’s in love with Sara.
7. HOW LONG HAVE YOU WATCHED 4 (Doctor Who)?
Like ten years. That’s a terrifying thought...
8. HOW DID YOU BECOME INTERESTED IN 3 (Voyager)?
I liked Sci-Fi generally and dad likes Star Trek. It was on and it’s very good.
9. WHO IS YOUR FAVOURITE ACTOR IN 2 (DS9)?
In terms of “favourite actor,” Alexander Siddig/Siddig El Fadil. In terms of “bloody hell he’s good in this,” Andrey J. Robinson.
10. WHICH SHOW DO YOU PREFER: 1 (CSI), 4 (Doctor Who), OR 5 (Wallander)?
Overall, CSI, hands down. between Doctor Who and Wallander, I’d have to say 10!Who is better than Wallander, seasons 1-2 of Wallander are better than 9!Who, and all of Wallander is better than 11!Who and 12!Who.
11. WHICH HAVE YOU SEEN MORE EPISODES OF: 1 (CSI) OR 3 (Voyager)?
CSI. Purely because I have seen all of the episodes of each and CSI has more than twice as many seasons.
12. IF YOU COULD BE ANYONE FROM 4 (Doctor Who), WHO WOULD YOU BE?
In terms of “anyone in the Whoniverse,” a Time Lord would be pretty cool. In terms of an actual character, Martha. She’s cool and generally awesome (although I wouldn’t have broken off the engagement to Tom Milligan (Hello, Tom Ellis!!!)
13. HOW WOULD YOU KILL OFF YOUR FAVOURITE CHARACTER FROM 1 (CSI)?
Sara would die very happily of old age after living a long and happy-ish (after the first thirty years or so) with Grissom. She’ll naturally have been running the lab by then (if Sara isn’t promoted to Supervisor of Graveyard in the TV Movie when DB leaves, I shall scream). Grissom would probably have died first but they’d have been happily married (and in the same goddamn CITY - coughVegascough)for at least 20 years before that happened.
14. WOULD A 2 (DS9)/3(Voyager) CROSSOVER WORK?
Like in the pilot of Voyager you mean? So... that would be a yes...
15. PAIR TWO CHARACTERS IN 2 (DS9) THAT WOULD MAKE AN UNLIKELY BUT STRANGELY OK COUPLE.
Garak/Kira would certainly be unlikely. Quite amusing though, if she ever got over her (kinda justified) racism...
16. OVERALL, WHICH SHOW HAD A BETTER CAST: 3 (Voyager), OR 5 (Wallander)?
Well they’re both very good. Overall I’d probably say Wallander. However, while the cast and the characters are awesome, some of them are a long way off what is described in the books. Naturally, Voyager doesn’t have that issue.
17. WHICH SHOW HAD A BETTER SOUNDTRACK: 1 (CSI), 4 (Doctor Who), OR 5 (Wallander)?
CSI tends to do epic songs for process montages, and it has The Who, but it only really has one brilliant piece of original music - the GSR Suite. Doctor Who has various bits of epic theme music (STOP CHANGING IT). I seem to remember Wallander’s was good, but not outstanding. So I’ll have to say Doctor Who.
