Maher is right. I’m so happy and relieved to see Trump lose the election by a landslide. But McConnell will be back, Graham will be back, etc. Liberals won the White House; liberals lost seats around the country and in congress. Do you want to see the minimum wage raised like I do? Do you really want to lose the battle over abortion rights (I do not), or do you desperately need your personal snowflake moment, screaming at a professor like an infant who’s been told it’s time for her to take her thumb out of her mouth? Do you want to save and improve the ACA like I do, or do you want to demand that everyone attend your “coming out party” as a new “letter”? Gee, thanks, far too many of you losers in the academic world where I taught for over 40 years: your pissing and moaning about every little perceived “slight,” your sitting in the floor and pounding the ground to get attention, like a Karen at Walmart over wearing a mask, your insisting that students follow such nonsense, has helped to demolish the possibility of reaching the practical goals a Democratic party once had.
