I work at a ski resort as a Snowmaker. This is my job, to provide more snow than Mother Nature can naturally.

I work 8pm-8am. A significant portion of the shift is spent in darkness. The headlamp on your helmet and the light of a snowmobile is all you have to illuminate your surroundings.

It’s always nice when the sun finally rises and lifts the veil of darkness, so you can see what you’ve accomplished.
