Hiked Bolton this evening with an old friend. I spent my childhood at this place, it’s a second home to me.

Every time we crawl up the half broken ladder of this old fire tower, we say to one another this could be the last time. It’s 100% un-safe to be on, important pieces of the structure are rotting. It sways it the wind, or when one person takes so much as a step... but it means so much to us, and many other people. it’s a memorial.

Speaking of memorials, here’s one for Kevin, he was one of my dads best friends. One of the good ones who left us too soon.
