6. Favorite lgbt+ movie? this is a total given but my favorite is love, simon. i sobbed both times i saw the movie and it means so so much to me. i also really enjoyed akron, but sometimes i can’t watch it all the way through and it makes me kind of upset, but i don’t really know why jkdjd
8. How did you meet your best lgbt+ friend? hoo boy my best lgbt+ friend is actually my best friend period. we met in middle school, and at first we didn’t talk and she said for awhile she was actually scared of me which was a shock to me (but not really, middle school me really needed to calm down). but we started getting closer because of band, and we really became best friends the summer before sophomore year when we started hanging out more
9. Who was your first crush? How do you feel about them now? looking back, i totally had crushes on girls and just didn’t realize it. i had a crush on one of my friends in elementary school who is still one of my most favorite and supportive person i have in my life. the first crush on a girl that i acknowledged was this girl in my spanish class my sophomore year. unfortunately i never said a word to her, and she probably knows me, if at all, as that one girl in spanish class who didn’t know a word of spanish and embarrassed herself in front of everyone every day jdskdj
11. What’s your favorite reaction from someone when they learned you were lgbt+? probably when i came out to my sister. i was terrified that she’d be weird about it, and it took me ages to work up the nerve and come out to her. i actually told her on christmas day when she and her friend (who also likes girls) were sitting on her bed doing whatever and i was sitting on mine doing my own thing. i figured that if she’s so accepting and supportive of her friend, then she might be supportive of me too. i was shaking really bad but i told her and she was just so happy for me. she started crying and she hugged me for a long time and said she was proud of me.
