Although still a quiet flyer, this variation of snowswooper has instead specialized for invisibility. Traditionally hunting on half moon nights or less, light pollution has it dramatically decreased its ability to cloak.
Out of desperation, they have started attacking larger and larger prey. On rare occasions, this may include creatures up to the size of an iguana.
More active during the cold months when there is less daytime, as this expands their range of time to hunt
Their call has been compared to the scream of someone getting crushed to death
