You know, it's funny, having been on Tumblr I've seen so many people say how Naruto and Sasuke aren't romantic partners... to be honest, Naruto and Sasuke's relationship cannot be limited to a label. It doesn't matter whether you see them as having a bond of brotherly love or pure friendship or something romantic. You can choose to see them as any of those because that isn't what really matters. And it doesn't matter to me either because I see their bond as something beyond the visible. They have a connection that is so beautiful it physically hurts me inside not to have something like that, to be so vulnerable towards someone and for them to know each and every aspect of you and never take advantage of that. But to use that knowledge to push each other to their best. To be each other's strengths. To be so emotionally and spiritually attached that nothing can come between them. It's glorious.

So to those of you who think I like them because I like to see them romantically--you're wrong. Sure, it's nice to picture them that way occasionally, but I primarily like them because their relationship is deep, and powerful, and holds so much meaning that when either one isn't present, I feel empty. And if you can't see how much importance they give to each other and how much they mean to each other---putting aside any labels---then you are in denial. Because that is actually canon. And that is what makes them special.
