Gratitude post 28 💫 I’m grateful to have met Miss Zaxby during her short time on Earth. Last Monday, something took her from the coop. Yes, yes. I know. Losing animals is just part of farm life. However, she was a special girl. She loved to be held, petted and talked to. She would come up to us on the patio and sing to us. She was the biggest of all our chicks and she would ruuuuuun across the yard like her tail feathers were on fire. Dunno if you’ve ever seen a fat chicken run, but it is hilarious. Anyways, today I just felt extra grateful for her and all the funny memories we have sitting outside watching her be a goof ball. Whoodathunk that chickens would be such personable, lovable pets?
