With Soo’s Latest Release, her showcase took off with a bang!
Selling out all the tickets for the event, it was also attended by many famous faces to give out their support to the idol. The event took place on 8/15/17 the same day as the album release. Putting on a stage like no other, Soo is able to show us that there is more to her than a pretty face. During one of the MC breaks before a game took place, Soo was able to give her thanks to those who helped her so much:
“Ah, thank you so much, everyone, for showing me your face and supporting me. I worked really hard to show you a new color to myself. I hope you see it. My Creep members really helped me and encouraged me whenever I felt weak. I want to make everyone proud to be a fan of me and never feel like they need to hide it. I’m going to keep working hard to make you all proud.”
Once the heart warmed words were exchanged, Soo took charge with a fun game to get to know her fans a bit more. After the event, Soo surprised fans by meeting them at the exit behind a table where she had hand prepared gifts for everyone while they left.
Many people are quick to agree that this comeback may be what Soo needed to get back on the public’s positive side. It shows in her charting markings as well as to the turn out for many events that Soo has planned with the release. Here is to the youngest and reaching whatever achievements she hopes to get this go around!
(This is just a small rough writing of Soo before actually performing. I had something else written up, but lost it all so I just threw this together really quick.)The palms of her hands were clammy as she finished the last of her touch ups from her make up artist. It seemed as it was an actual debut again when it truly wasn’t the case. She had done this before, just a few months before even. Soo looked down at her phone that was rested against her thighs, the screen glowing from a new notification from her group chat with her fellow CREEP members. A smile gracing her lips as she read over the encouraging words. The last ten minutes she had was spent walking the back hallway and bumping into her fellow label mates, Minny and Minyoung was a pleasant surprise since the younger girls were filled with nothing other than encouraging words. Once they parted ways to go get into their places to watch the showcase, Soo was able to get a peek at the fellow members of her Roommate season. Their cameras attached to their hands caused a small stir of giggles to leave her lips. Crybaby’s leader, Jieun was standing next to another two of the cast members, a trainee named Sunmi and lastly Deok of WÜNDERLÜST, the small group forming together with the other idols, a lot of them solely from her own company, 2K, that showed up to support the youngest member of CREEP. The crowds of people were forming into their seats, the volume of the showcase area rising along with her nerves. The Announcer began to hype of the crowd, her dance crew going out first to have their own moment to shine before she began to make her way to the stage and show off all the hard work she had been working on til this moment.
