Cole nodded, bending forward to look at the water. He jumped back as a wave leaped up to where he was and shivered.
“It’s so cold...” Cole shut his eyes and tried not to panic, wrapping his arms around himself. No, Therith didn’t need that right now. But his eyes shot open at her next question, and he slowly turned himself to face her.
