⛓ =w=
The explosion had your ears ringing for a few hours after the event, war wounds carved into your mind fresh and clear like day break over the horizon line. You had spent the last moments of your conscious state shouting for Jester and, when darkness had taken you, it had taken your voice with you as well.
Reckless. That’s what this all was. However many people could have been caught in the flashbang you couldn’t count off the top of your head. In fact...the whole thing was rather fuzzy. The event made no sense, contractions lying in plain sight. Maybe what you were experiencing was little more than a molotov cocktail of repressed fears, traumas and emotions--you would rather not say.
No.
You were too busy now to think about what had happened, focusing on your current state.
Arms and legs were bound down to a chair, bright lights over your head making it difficult to keep your eyes open, let alone survey your surroundings, not that the thrumming in the back of your head and the stars dancing before you eyes did anything to help the splitting migraine battering your brain.
You huff and sigh loudly, wrists working against the bindings uselessly. Whoever did this knew how to tie ropes, not something you liked in the slightest.
Eventually you begin to smell a trail of cigarette smoke, a single click of what you can only assume to be a metal lighter snuffing out a flame. Heavy footprints echo through the room as the other approaches you, hovers over you, blocking out a small stream of light. You didn’t bother to look up at him first, the bright lights above you only causing pain from the time you tried previously. You grit your teeth in anticipation, saying nothing.
Who are you and why do you know Leadfoot?
The other demands with a persecuting tone giving little way in emotion save for distaste.
