So in soulmate AU, how did Mink & Clear hook up? Does Mizuki have a soulmate or nah? (Like is the soulmate somewhere out there alive/born yet?) How long (estimated time) does it take for Noiz to accept dates with Kojack? Do they get married? How do they spend their afterlives together post-death? (It seems kinda boring on the docks lol)

*cracks knuckles* sorry for the delay, but I’ll get to your questions one by one~ starting with this :D

This particular AU follows the “anime route” so everyone is Scrapped and Aoba ends up with Ren. Mink has lost his colors with the death of his tribe and Clear has been programmed to see in color all along. Additionally, Clear is able to perceive other people’s “soulmate aura” – those who have united/met with their soulmate are usually vibrant, while others (those who have yet to meet/have lost their soulmate) are a more muted color. And then there’s Mink. Who is completely black and white.

Following Platinum Jail’s destruction, Clear’s infinite curiosity leads to him following Mink around. Trying to find out what could be behind this phenomena. For Mink’s part, I’m adapting tigerine’s addendum. Mink doesn’t stay for long in Midorijima now that he has seen to Toue’s death, more reason for him to leave is the inexplicable reactions that Clear’s presence brings out of him.

Mink leaves and Clear lets him… or Clear didn’t know that he was leaving? Aoba was having some drama over Koujaku having gone missing around that time so Clear was pretty occupied helping out his Master. By the time Clear has his own time again, he realizes he hasn’t seen Mink around town lately. He searches him out to no avail.

The year ends, a new one begins, Clear finally comes to the conclusion that Mink has gone back to his homeland. He tells Aoba of his plan to search for Mink and Aoba wishes him the best of luck and asks him to keep in contact. Clear agrees and flies out.

After that it’s pretty much Mink’s Good Re:Connect route but with Clear instead of Aoba. Clear gets along better with the locals because auto translation heh.

Mizuki… probably has a soulmate out there but since his only scope of living is in Midorijima, there’s a very low chance that he’ll meet them. By the time Koujaku returns to Midorijima for his Gallery show, Mizuki is married and has a kid. The woman is not Mizuki’s soulmate but they clicked anyway and are happily in love. Mizuki’s kid is named Shiori. There will be a mention of him in Part.. um… 3. But since we’re technically not even at Part 2 yet, it might take a while for you to meet him ^^

I’m realizing now that it probably wasn’t the best thing to post the End of the Soulmates AU when the published fics are still only at, like, Part 1.75. But the ‘Noiz dating Koujaku’ bit is pretty much the meat of Part 2, which is the next fic to be published once kaz returns the beta to me. Marriage is a… sensitive subject, will be touched on in Part 3.

The afterlife was supposed to be Part 5. With Part 4 covering their ~advanced~ years together, failing health included. The big idea was to show them in the afterlife with the first color image they had of each other, because special soulmates get to share an afterlife (ayo, Supernatural, thanks for the idea!) They’re at the docks because I’m fairly certain they were on the same boat to Midorijima before Toue closed off all access to it. There’s really not much to do in their afterlife, maybe walk around and talk about everything that Koujaku had missed in the world since his passing – including Noiz finding Koujaku’s sercret stash of erotic art of him/them and the surprise appearance of an illegitimate child.

To recap, Part 2 is the giving each other a try. Part 3 is their honeymoon stage and everything that follows. Part 4 is the senior years. Part 5 is the after life, already posted.

Thank you! ;u; I glad people think like that. I do use reference, but I think what make me enjoy it because I can make the robot like I want. I’m not sure I can make it as good if I need to copy the exact design of existing robot, haha.

Screaming Koujaku in the shower is from the second volume of the DMMD comics anthology. (P 87 to be exact). Aoba leans against the door too far in Glitter & falls down while Kojack screams & Aoba stares at him.

there hasn’t been any news about the r18 Aoba figure other than the announcement about it, at least not that I could find. I also checked native’s website, but I didn’t find any news there either :( hopefully there’s some news about it soon

Well, you don't have anon turned on, but whatevs: "I wish you would write a fic where..." Koujaku is visiting Germany with Noiz for the first time (in a post-anime Kounoi au) and how they interact with everyone else. Or one where Koujaku wakes up in the middle of the night and gets freaked out by a glowing Usagimodoki sitting right in front of his face and falls out of bed only for a bunch of the cubes to fall on top of him. (Obv Noiz is recording his entire freakout).

I don't think that Frozen should have gotten so much praise for it's animation/story since it was a WIP for like 70 years & there are much more better films like Emperor's New Groove (in which they were forced to scrap the entire movie/songs/voices & remake it completely w/in a year) & Shrek (Shrek's voice actors either dying or deciding to change the accent when everything was almost done) that were rushed. And yet Frozen feels like a rushed film.

Frozen was actually very rushed. They changed the storyline mid animation (CGI animation, mind you. Remember that one clip with Anna saying, “That’s my sister!”? That was from the original story where Elsa was a sort of villain). While I don’t like Shrek- but I love Shrek 2- I wouldn’t see it was as rushed as Shrek, but it’s definitely more of a mess than Shrek. At least Shrek has an actual storyline and a continuous one at that. Now, remember that Frozen was not a WIP for 70 years because it was shelved for most of it, so you can’t say that they had 70 years to work on it- they decided to actually use the story in 2008- but I understand what you’re saying.

Wow, can't the teachers cut Malia some slack? She WAS living in the woods for like 8 years AND institutionalized in Eichen House! Their totally UNPROFESSIONAL behavior is giving me war flashbacks. ~"I don't care you didn't volunteer, I called on YOU." echoes in the background while classmates all smirk meanly in unison~

i guess eight years as a coyote is the equivalent of public school to teen wolf writers??? or is it like a humor moment? like look at the fish out of water? even though that would never happen...i mean, she'd be in remedial studies and have a student aid shadow or something
