After getting home from a 2 month long Europe vacation, laying in bed cuddled up with Chris felt amazing.
Y/n had gotten home two days ago, and Chris had barely left her side. He insisted they do everything together, since she apparently had left him “alone” for too long.
Hearing her alarm clock blare, y/n sat up, rubbing the sleepiness out of her eyes. Making sure not to wake Chris, she quietly go ready for work, ensuring he was still peacefully sleeping before heading for the door.
Y/n sighed, opening Chris’s door to head out, only to feel arms snake around her waist from behind.
“You can’t leave me again” Chris mumbled tiredly into her hair, inhaling the sweet scent of her shampoo.
Turning to face him, y/n smiles at her half asleep, whiny boyfriend. “I’ve missed so much work already, I’ll get fired if I don’t come in today” she says, brushing a lock of hair out of Chris’s face.
Pulling her back into the bed, Chris let’s out a frustrated sigh. “Please y/n, call in sick today, I really wanted to spend it with you” Chris begs, locking his tired eyes with hers.
“Ok love, I didn’t like that job anyways” y/n whispers, a small giggle escaping her lips. Chris grins, proud of himself for convincing his beautiful girlfriend to stay.
Y/n places a soft kiss on Chris’s cheek, before laying her head on his chest, and falling asleep to the steady rhythm of his heartbeat.
