My Doll Shelves

I’ve been itching to share my collection display, so here it is! I’ve been working on it for a couple of years now. Most of my dolls are from bargain stores or bought second hand. I have a couple exceptions of course.

I do some light alterations or restyles to my dolls if I feel like it. Catty was my most extensive in terms of painting. I touched up her face and painted her boots, sunglasses and belt. It’s not perfect but I’m really happy with how she turned out.

The zombaes and the pixlings have been the most fun to collect. Both lines seem to be discontinued, and I understand why. One has a gacha gimmick (though there are codes to get around that) and the pixlings have an awful amount of hard plastic packaging. I’ve been finding ways to reuse the potion bottles, and I try to find as many as I can second hand. But even still, the bottles add up quick.

But I find a lot of fun and charm in these otherwise overlooked dolls. I even picked up an “off the hook” doll I stumbled across in the wild. I’m not the biggest fan of this line, but there’s a creativity too it that I can’t help but find charming.

I wasn’t expecting a Series 2 of the Zombaes Forever so soon - but I’m glad we got them! Adding little anima friends was a really fun addition as well.

I of course had my heart set on this lovely lady vampire - I actually do collect vampire dolls from different series, along with my MH collection, and she’s a perfect addition!
