Why are people so happy about Paramore winning a Grammy?
"Ain't it Fun" is a terrible song for many reasons a few of them being that 1. roughly 75% of the song is the same words over and over and over, 2. it contains atrocious grammar (there is a big difference between poetic license and poor grammar), 3. the song is meaningless because the singer of the song can't actually relate to what she's singing about. People should not be proud of Hayley Williams in the name of feminism for winning a Grammy (awards based off bland, thoughtless opinions instead of quality) because the song is down right mediocre at best. Why should we be proud of mediocre when we can be proud of better female musicians? (No, I'm not talking about Nicki Minaj...) Alternative female musicians to be proud of: Stevie Nicks, Shakira, Lady Gaga, etc. DISCLAIMER: this post has no malicious intent as it is an opinion, a strong one but still an opinion. Just because you disagree with it does not mean I'm insulting your existence and deserve to rot in every circle of hell.
