current favorite show: listen heated rivalry has taken over my life, but outside of that the pitt because it's ER 2.0 and i love noah wyle.

current favorite book: i feel like i haven't had a 5 star read in A WHILE. i loved tomorrow, and tomorrow, and tomorrow by gabrielle zevin. and the amazing adventures of kavalier and clay by michael chabon will always be a favorite. always down for recs though. gimme all the book recs.

current favorite video game: i play couch co-op sometimes and currently enjoy platedup quite a lot. not super big into video games. much more into like nyt games (do those count?).

song on repeat: god my listening habits are predictable. per spotify, number one track right now is aperture followed by i'll believe in anything by wolf parade.

oddly specific thing that brings you joy: the white squirrel that lives in the tree outside the building i work in. i call her pearl.

what smell makes you happy: the first lilac blooms of the year. and coffee. i can't walk past a coffee shop without getting something.

what’s your work/profession: i'm a researcher in a cognitive development lab which just means i hang out with kiddos, run MRIs, analyze data, and try not to feel old when my undergrads tell me i've loved bands longer than they've been alive.
