When Deadpool has his episodes, HB makes sure to keep Wade off the ground. If not then Toph would feel it and either have to leave, or blind herself to stick around. He knows how much it unnerves her but doesn’t give her hell for it.

The few times he’s smoked around her, she’s plucked the cigar from his mouth and ground it in the dirt, complaining of the smell. Of course she could just leave because he doesn’t do it indoors, but then where’s the fun in that?

In a fight, when the baddies rush Hellboy and an attack comes from behind, Toph will, at times, bend his stone hand such that it pulls him out of the way. It doesn’t always sit well with him afterwards because she’s not exactly gentle, but it gets the job done.
