In the Hot Rod is Perceptors child au. Sometimes Perceptor is busy working on dangerous experiments and doesn't want Hot Rod getting hurt or he's busy and can't be distracted. So I imagine Kup watches Hot Rod when this happens. Except one time he can't because he has a mission so he gives Hot Rod to Impactor.

At first he freaks out because Hot Rod is so tiny and he's so large and he doesn't want to hurt Hot Rod. Kup is laughing at him in the background as he shows him how to hold the sparkling. Impactor is both nervous and reluctant to hold Hot Rod. Until one of Hot Rods tiny hands wrap around his finger and he just melts.
