Hello there! May I offer you a book rec?

There's this book I stumbled across in high school called "The Rosemary Spell" by Virginia Zimmerman--and I don't know what it is about it, but it has haunted me ever since. It's about two preteens named Rosie and Adam who discover a mysterious old blank book that sometimes fills with old handwriting before their eyes. However, when they write Adam's older sister's name in the book on a whim, they discover that she has vanished from existence and everyone has forgotten her--and they easily could too, if they don't figure out how to get her back soon. I can't recommend it enough, it's wrapped up in a lot of ideas about the struggles of growing up and leaving childhood behind and the power of words.
