what inspired your hanahaki kakanaru fic? Very curious because it’s different than your usual work, writing-wise. I loved it so much, definitely my favorite work you have put out and definitely very underrated.

It is quite different, huh? ... Honestly, I just love hanahaki tropes. I wanted to write my own, but I didn't know if I truly wanted it to be something tragic. I did a lot of research into each flower Kakashi had buried in his heart. I also did a bunch of research into hanahaki itself and where it originated.
I would like to say my writing tends to lay low on the heavy aspect mainly because I like comedy more... But every once in a while I enjoy writing a satisfyingly bittersweet ending and I think that was the case with my work. I believe an author grows the more they venture out of their comfort zone!
I don't think it's as sad of an ending as it may have come off..
In another world.... Naruto and Kakashi would have found each other. In another world, Kakashi and Naruto would have fallen in love. It was a case of right person, wrong time.
