Guyssssss I came outtttttt

Like, for the very first time

And it was one of my best experiences ever

I was sorting through my list of people to tell, and of course, the very first person on my list was my best friend, because he knows me better than anyone

Soooo

I messaged him, saying that there was something really really exciting that I needed to tell him, but he had to be reading it in real time, not after the fact, so when he showed up, I kinda dragged it out like I do, and then finally I just went “I’m pansexual”

And he asked me how I figured it out, and I started to tell him, and then he was like “So, girls are pretty, huh??”

To which I reply, “Oh my gosh, girls are ridiculously pretty”

And he said he was so happy for me and girls are so soft and warm and amazing and generally way more fun to date than guys (unless they’re an awesome femme guy like his boyfriend, in which case they’re all of those things)

And I was like “I’m not the token straight friend anymore!!!”

Because seriously, in his circles, I totally was the token straight friend. As unto, now that I’m out as pan, he’s not sure he has any straight friends, and half of his friends are trans on top of that, so his life is just this massive, huge, magnificent rainbow

And oh my word, I aspire to that so much

And I didn’t even like being the token straight friend, I was constantly walking around like “Being straight is so overrated”

And I mentioned this, and I told him, “You know, in retrospect, I’m looking at my younger self going ‘You know, that’s kind of a very not straight thing of you to say”

And he kinda flailed at that and thought it was awesome and said I was adorable and aaaAAAA it was amazing

Oh oh oh

And then I got to make my first closet joke

It was kind of a very contextual thing that takes too much explaining, but it was so much fun because GUYS I CAN MAKE CLOSET JOKES NOW

So anyway, that was hella long and hella rambly, and I’m sorry for that, but I’m just so exciteddddddd and I’ll just show myself out now byeeeee

For those of you who don’t know, this is Plushie Sid, who went on all of our Hockey Road Trip adventures with me and @hils79 and @makaze77 back in January. He’s been relaxing, enjoying some downtime as he acclimates to living in a new place, but today, we went on a new adventure, to the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex. Today, plushie Sid (and me!!!!!) met Sidney Crosby, who only gave this a VERY slightly weird look when I passed it over to him, but still very kindly signed Plushie Sid’s Stanley Cup and was super nice and I just. I can’t, you guys. I’m pretty sure I’m dead and this was actually a ghost dream.

I knowwww but i was never that great at it? Like being 6′2 is not ideal for ballet. I was always too tall and too awkward tbh I realized that basketball and volleyball were better for me lol

Does anyone else else think mrazek has like the worst goalie technique ever? And by technique i mean he has none. The man literally just flails and flops himself around on the ice. I honestly don't know how he manages to save any goals. Plus he always leaves the net wide open. :/
