I wonder how bad of a headspace Ray would have ended up in after Henry left for Dystopia. Because the whole city thinks Kid Danger is dead, right? So there had to be some sort of public announcement about it before the memorial service. And there's no way Captain Man wasn't getting people coming up to him for months after to give their condolences. Maybe it was okay in the very beginning right after the crash, because Henry was still there as a physical tangible reassurance that he didn't actually die, but after he left I'd assume it would get worse. Ray already wasn't the most stable person and now he has people repeatedly telling him how sorry they were his sidekick died? That's had to have started to affect him. You hear anything enough times you start to believe it.
I also wonder how public perception of him changed after Danger Force was introduced. Because the timing on that was terrible. Episode 1 of Danger Force was only three weeks after the funeral/memorial for Kid Danger. Which means, depending on how long of time there was between the blimp crash and the memorial, as far as people know Kid Danger had only been dead a month or so when Captain Man replaced him. That couldn't have been a great look on him.
