also. thought u might find it interesting that like. carrie n lara have a very similar dynamic to bruce and clark. carrie is a lot less outwardly angry than bruce but more than makes up for it in raw devotion to bruce and to gotham. she shares bruces smarts and strategies. lara is wrathful and genocidal but is just as stubborn and as. kind of stupid as her father. lara wants to go in guns blazing and carrie has to remind her that often that'll just make things worse. they bicker but carrie always has the upper hand and lara refuses to accept that. ("im the one who's not taking this personally")

YESSSSSSSSS its so interesting thinking about their similarities and differences to their fathers/guardians. Especially how they're both much more brutual versions of their parents which i have VERY mixed feelings about (cos personally i love how clark normally stands for hope and being kind, so seeing a brutal uncaring supergirl is SOOO interesting). I understand how their upbrinings have caused them to be so violent and frank millers imagined gotham/america is so violent and chaotic and reflects the political landscape etc. But the fact that lara and carrie are so violent makes me feel kinda sad that they as the new generation will face sm violence and hand out sm of it.
But theyre also soo similar in other ways (like u said) and their fathers children. Theres a pannel where carrie says lara is too poetic and now I cant stop thinking about lara writing poetry (not sure what genre) and maybe it helps her appreciate the world and humanity more and provide her with a connection to the human side of her father who was a journalist 😭😭 i hope lara grows more as a person its all i want
