Really enjoying the amount of people going “I don’t know anything about Fallout but this au is cool!” because knowing about the games isn’t too important, it’s mostly just a futuristic nuclear war post-apocalypse setting I’m borrowing
Except they’ll not realize the implication of what Wilbur and Tommy being vault dwellers MEANS... oh boy
that line about Tommy’s parents getting sick gets real dark in hindsight let me tell you
so uhhhh, i had an exam last week and there was an essay topic i wrote using the mob psycho 100 plot. i thought why not share it here since my blog is mostly mp100 related by now.
this is a little 300 word essay (that was the word limit, so i couldn't write too in detail) on my take of the Claw Arc.

In a world where psychic powers somehow existed, people who abused that power were sure to pop-up. And they did, preaching about their own twisted ideals of world domination and the superiority they hold with their psychic abilities.
With the chaos they had brought along, it seemed apparent to Mob that only he, who had an almost infinite amount of psychic power, could put an end to this. This responsibility had been placed on his shoulders when he was fourteen.
It didn’t seem right at all, to have a middle-schooler be the one to stop a whole organisation of adults that wanted to take over the world. It was unheard of and straight up absurd. But what could Mob do, there was no-one else that could stop them other than him.
There was no other choice for Mob, he had to do something. In order to save his brother, his friends and his city, using his own powers to defeat them was the only way. Or else none of them will make it out of this alive.
“It’s okay to run away!” Mob was snapped out of his thoughts, he could no longer see the destroyed shopping district in front of him. His mentor stood there, with hands on Mob’s shoulders and staring him right in the eye with a look of such reassurance that he had forgotten his responsibility.
“Mob, let your master handle this. You’re too young for saving the world.” It was like all the suppressed emotions and stress left him. Hearing those words was what Mob needed, for someone, anyone to take this weight from him.
To tell him it was alright to run away, because he was only fourteen and he didn’t have to bear so much burden on his own. And there it was, his saving grace that pulled him out of that dark place in his mind. A narrow escape in the form of his mentor, Reigen Arataka.
