He seemed to be trying really hard to appeal to the frat-bro crowd, and I’m not even sure why. As much as I don’t want to compare him to C and H (and Tom Holland tbh), I do think there’s a conversation to be had about why those two resonate so strongly with the gen pop these days. It’s not really about how they identify, what stands out is how secure they are in their own identity and masculinity. They don’t seem to feel the need to force themselves into any particular box.

I used to say something similar to Timmy, but over the past couple of years his attitude toward his “craft” has almost become his entire personality. I don’t begrudge anyone for wanting recognition for their hard work, but undermining other people’s work just to put yourself on a pedestal isn’t a good look.

Timmy used to be one of the most authentic celebs out there. In my opinion, once that core changes, their glow starts to fade, and he has been losing that glow since after Beautiful Boy. I guess I'm one of the .14$ he just lost.

In summary: someone should’ve told him to sit down and relax. The world doesn’t revolve around him or his career, and taking a step back wouldn’t suddenly end war or world famine. CMBYN and Beautiful boy will always be on my top 10.
