          the night seems to be going smoothly. the city’s big leagues are 𝑫𝑰𝑮𝑮𝑰𝑵𝑮 𝑫𝑬𝑬𝑷 to bid on rare items courtesy of the young luthor’s research and ability to get such items. the guest of honour, 𝑾𝑶𝑵𝑫𝑬𝑹 𝑾𝑶𝑴𝑨𝑵, has been the subject of lena’s gaze for quite some time now, though she spends most of the night lingering at the back, avoiding as many of the gala’s attendees as possible. charitable, yes. conversational? not tonight.

          upon seeing the amazon finally free of company, lena approaches before stilling at her side, arms gently folding across each other as a 𝑺𝑴𝑨𝑳𝑳 𝑺𝑴𝑰𝑳𝑬 features. keeping her eyes on the painting, lena speaks, ❝ exquisite, isn’t she? ❞
