( author/artist’s note: i know port wine stains come in all shapes/sizes and can be much more severe than the one i’m depicting. i’m not in any way trying to diminish or make like of this condition, this is just my personal design choice. speaking as a person who doesn’t have any birthmarks, but does struggle with insecurity about my appearance, i think it’s important to show beauty in something other than society’s accepted image. the idea of rhaegar, a character whose beauty is generally highlighted, having a birthmark, was just a very appealing one to me. )
ive been asked to storyboard the opening titles for the show im working on (i was secretly hoping for it but wasnt expecting to be given it) so i feel super honoured but also now a little nervous ahaaa.... not that’ll be a complciated intro (I DONT THINK) ill find out friday but........................ its still the first thing you see when the show starts.
