... A Deathclaw is EXACTLY what Pascal would be in the Fallout AU because that’s what Deathclaws were before genetic experimentation

I've watched the first episode of The Magicians and couldn't really get into it. But I became "a bit" infatuated with Eliot (and Hale Appleman) through gifs and now I'm "a bit" obsessed (also with Queliot, might have extensively liked your posts, sorry). Is there enough Eliot in the show to try it again or are the gifs not representative of his role? (I am aware that Queliot is not the center of the show and of the end of season 4). Sorry, weird question, but I couldn't stand the disappointment.
Hello friend. Okay so first… the first episode is, um… bad lmao. The show has always done shitty things and been all over the place with pacing and plot holes and emotional consistency, but… I don’t think it’s fair to judge it based on the first episode or honestly even the first half of season one. 1x08 onward is when it really starts to get interesting imo, and while it probably never reached the point of being a great show, it has moments of greatness, and the cast is so good that oftentimes they make up for some truly wtf writing choices. Honestly, the magic show might just have my favorite cast of all time. They’re truly that amazing.
So. As far as the Eliot of it all goes… there’s no easy answer as to whether I think it will be worth it for you to watch just for him. He is in the main cast from the beginning, but you may find his role a bit lacking in the first season. I wanna say he’s still in every episode tho? But he really starts to become more central in season 2, and he has some truly fantastic character development over the course of the series. He’s one of my favorite characters ever and I am personally grateful to have found him, even with all the garbage surrounding the finale and the aftermath.
The show becomes more of an ensemble cast as the seasons go on, and with the exception of season 4 (where you still have Hale, it’s just Eliot is possessed, which I assume you’ve been spoiled for if you know about the finale?) you will get Eliot in just about every episode. The show is really dark at times and deals with some suuuuper heavy shit (there’s a tw list here if you think that’s something you might need), and the season 4 finale is one of the worst things I’ve ever seen on television, but... I love Eliot (and Quentin, and their relationship) with my whole entire heart and soul, and I think I would rather have him than not.
I just... honestly don’t know that I would wish this show on another person at this point lmao. Let me know what you think if you do decide to continue it tho. 💖

Legends say there was a crow, soaring high above the clouds. Larger than most, with feathers thin and sharp, he travelled across to and from every village and town, every kingdom and lair. Keeping watch over the world in a god's name, serving them for the greater good and disarming those who disobey the order. The crow was the leader, the Champion, chosen by the god themselves. Some say it was once a half-elf, a hero of the realm.
And yet, there was a place the crow frequented more than others. A forest, far from civilisation. And a person, once its lover. With her hair of red and dress of fresh leaves. Every day, over and over again.
Until they both reunited far beyond the world's end.
So, are you going to be a father? Or do we have a whole different sort of drama to deal with that involves a cheating partner...?
Some magical person made her pregnant. You know, how Loki tried to do with you. So, thankfully, no cheating. She thinks there might be four babies, I’m terrified :)
wait one more thing about fCurufin, how well or badly does Feanor take her pregnancy? I imagine him torn constantly between fascination that she's making a whole new elf with all the complicated fiddly bits and everything, and unreasoning paranoid terror where he keeps, like, deducing the theoretical possibility of eclampsia and freaking out about it
Anon i was going to be flip about the Feanor-with-Miriel-related-childbirth-trauma thing but honestly this is the only scenario I’ve ever heard that made me kind of “aww” about it. like. Feanor with his favorite child whom everyone else hates… fussing! Curufin: I didn’t think my bottomless appetite for paternal approval could be satiated but now I feel kind of weird???????? Like I’m cheating?
Let’s face it Celebrimbor was probably talking in the womb like a Temeraire dragon so Celebrimbor joins the conversation at this point to say “I feel weird.” Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Curufin telepathically suggests. It sets the tone
A quick message to the people I RP with-
// My muse is being a bitch, and I have trouble connecting with canon Urd atm. So I’m afraid I’ll have to push the replies to any canon-threads a bit. AU-verses is no problem, and I’ll proceed to answer those. Short threads/asks etc. will still be answered ic. So don’t be afraid that I’m ignoring you or something :)!
Also feel free to hit me up, if you wanna join in on the AU threads. Anything is welcome, from ONS-verse AUs to Human AUs, HP AUs.... Really anything :D
This is specifically pointed at those I owe replies; @monophagia, @hiiragi-yukine, @tatsu-rose-bathory and @elyon-kurae. I’m sorry for the inconvenience, Urd is not always the easiest to get along with orz!
