Before we begin this, let us make two points very clear.

I had done a Probability course at some point of time in  my university. 

This book is structured very nicely. The concepts start from the very basic level and then keeps building on, and you don't even realize you have learnt so much.  I divided my course into two parts - 

The topics with which I was very comfortable.

The topics I did not not know or had difficulty understanding. 

The book also has the problems taken from the samples of Exam P provided with by the Society of Actuaries which are marked in the book.

For the comfortable part, I read the theory, read examples and in the exercise only did the questions which  were marked.  For the difficult part, I read the theory, practiced examples by doing each one myself. As far as exercise is considered, it is impossible to do each and every question if you so less time left. I did the questions which looked different or difficult and the marked questions. But if I found any topic very difficult, I solved the whole exercise to gain confidence.

Short Notes

Make some short notes of the formulas to remember and also the concepts you think are important but you are likely to forget. These notes are very helpful for final revision.

Practice Test

I did two practice tests  which are provided by The Infinite actuary(TIA) free of cost. I sat for 3 hours stretch and gave them just like real exams. I got 16 in the first one which I knew was not good enough. A day before the exam I gave another test and got 21 in it. I was targeting a minimum of 19 in my final paper. I felt the exam was pretty easy. It was easier than the practice tests by TIA. Time was also sufficient. So yes I did pass the exam and am waiting for the final score. After passing, I sent a word of thanks to Prof. Marcel and he was kind enough to reply.  I know how important it is for students to find such posts online. I was constantly searching for tips/shortcuts online because I had do less time left. I just needed a post stating, "Don't worry. It is possible to clear Exam P in less than 15 days. You can do it."
