Remember when he called a trans girl a nazi for disagreeing with him?
Oh yeah, it was the one of the really big “drama” he had on tumblr and I think on of the first posts of mine that got a lot of attention outside of people who already knew about Dobson. Could be wrong on that last part, it’s been a while.
And all because he decided to lash out against someone who politely disagreed with his “Debating is a fascist tool” comic he made.
While everyone has named comics that are definitely among the worst of Dobson, here are some I'd like to add-
His list comic where he basically says football fans are all homophobes while also secretly being gay.
ANYTHING with Talus. Because Talus literally makes an already bad comic even worse. Every time.
The very last comic he made before he rage quit (not counting Cabin's Rest) I think, where he directly compared the COVID-19 pandemic to the 9/11 attacks. He got A LOT of blowback for that and he threw a fit over it and denied that's what he was saying. Even though he clearly was, and I recall him even calling people "stupid" for thinking that was his point. Then failing to explain what his "real" point was. What a way to end his cartooning career. but it was also a very fitting end for him.

Honestly, those three comics you picked give a good overall example of why Dobson has the reputation he has, along with giving you an idea of the type of person he is.
I'd say any time Dobson attempted to realistically draw someone were always among the worst of his art. The guy could just not do it and no one he tried to draw looked like who they were supposed to be. His Obama was really bad. He once drew Benedict Cumberbatch and it looked nothing like him at all. And his Trump...God, his Trump...That's okay because not everyone can draw in a more realistic manner. But his attempts were ESPECIALLY bad, like he was trying too hard is my point, and it didn't work. Instead of using a different technique, he refused to learn and kept doing it. Not surprising because this is Dobson.

Its especially odd considering how he’s constantly adding “detail lines” to simple cartoony designs for “realism” or whatever, but he never really goes for much realism when it comes to when he’s actually trying to draw someone truer-to-life.
Of course with Trump, he just has an irrational seething hatred for the man and was constantly taking any and every chance he had to shit on him and wish for his death.
Shout-out to the Social Justice Pie. It's not the worst thing he's ever done by a long shot but it is one of the stupidest and most contradictory visual metaphors he ever put together.
Honestly, any of his “Soapbox Derpy” comics could fall under his worst for that exact reason. And like most of his political opinions, he probably copied it from someone else.

I've seen Dobson accused of trying to appeal to kids with his work, ie his obsession with kids' cartoons in his art, and ignore his adult audience. What's your opinion on that? I mean he does treat adults like complete shit for no reason, no question, but it's hard to argue he's trying to appeal to kids when he also kept making shitty political cartoons that kids decidedly DON'T care about. Also what kids WERE actually seeking him out and talking to him a lot anyway?
I think when most people say “Dobson appealing to kids”, they mean that he will typically chase trends that younger teenagers like and try to draw fanart of stuff they like, provided it involves lesbians and/or shitting on whatever he deems “the wrong side”. As you mentioned, that typically means him getting obsessed with particular cartoons. The political comics are just ways for him to pat himself on the back and pander to the extreme left, because he thought it would get him some sort of acceptance and popularity.
What did the original comic look like before trumps face was pasted on there? If you can find it anyways.

Did Dobson finding out Trump likes McDonald's send him over the deep end with TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome)? I'm sure Dobson hated him before but I wonder if that was really the last straw for him and lead him to actually start drawing bad comics about him and declaring Trump is a Nazi trying to kill him specifically, etc.
Nah, he was full on TDS the entire time. He even lazily edited an old political cartoon he made to call Trump sexist/racist the day of the election. He was just extra mad because he loved McDonalds.
