A timeless classic - Lavender soap with Goat Milk. Lavender is such an easy soap to make. It never misbehaves, and gives me so much time to swirl tops. Or as the case was today, fill little novelty soap moulds and THEN swirl the tops. The weather remains cold, grey, and awful, and I cannot work out what I want to make for dinner. I have a chicken I could roast, but honestly I just want someone else to make me giant bowl of steamed vegetables and garlic butter. (I do all the cooking in our household - in exchange, I never have to vacuum unless something seriously dire happens. I do enjoy the cooking much more than husband enjoys vacuuming, it must be said.) I'm almost at a point where I can breathe again - the electrician for the house extension/studio is booked (EXCITEMENT!) and then we can start insulating, roofing, and lining. After that I can put my studio back together and I am looking forward to that bit SO MUCH. Working in my current chaos has not been good for my headspace. It's tolerable, but not for much longer. Plus I have to restock all of our hand creams soon and that is hard work when I'm as low on bench and shelf space as I am right now.
