Soap x Taco x Mic!

uhhuh rambling about soap x taco x mic below cause i heart them and i feel the need to explain all the things i think abt them in my brain. i was writing this somewhere else but decided to post it here instead. and then i added mORE.

WHY is soaptacomic a rarepair. like genuinely. why isnt it more popular. (ignores the fact i have a very different experience w relationships due to being aroace noo that couldnt POSSIBLY be why my views on shipping are different /silly) BUT FR I LOVE THEM SO MUCH . now we all know how much i love tacomic- (it was literally like, the 1 thing that actually got me to understand and enjoy shipping as an aroace person. i didnt understand the feeling of being obsessed with a ship until them. now i get it. i understand now) but, after the final i started thinking abt soap a lot from that one scene, cause, when you add soap into the relationship, any arguments about tacomic being "toxic" just get totally DESTROYED, because soap would likely have a really really good influence on taco and she'd ofc be there to help microphone as well. like she would be the one to tell them when something is wrong. which would help taco learn how to open up more. i think taco would be a little intimidated at first and soap slightly distrusting of taco but i think eventually they would talk abt it and that would get resolved. soap would want to make sure mic is safe, and taco would want to prove that she's trustworthy. and then i think soap would see how taco's just Really bad at being genuine and expressing herself in a straight (gay) forward way. like she was literally made to be deceptive so even when she WANTS to be genuine shes going to be really really bad at it and have a hard time. but soap is the opposite, she seemed very good at talking abt how she felt with microphone, very good at expressing herself and what she wants. so she would help taco and probably be like wow she is kind of cute. i think she'd feel really proud whenever shes seen how taco has learned from her. mic would be like wow taco you're getting sm better at being a Good Person and then taco would be like omg shes praising me and then she'd want to spend more time with soap and then they'd like each other more bc they're spending quality time together . i feel like soap could even remind her of mepad in a way. like, soap likes to keep things clean and organized, more in a physical sense but i think this would be true metaphorically too- like with mepad, although i'm sure he'd probably be good at keeping physical things organized as well, what he was the best at was staying calm and keeping it together and reassuring others- so, clean and organized in a more emotional sense. I feel like soap, though to a lesser degree, would be a bit like that. But especially in relation to Taco because she is an emotional MESS in comparison. (but ALSO in a physical sense i can see soap being like okay. taco you have lived in the woods for who knows how long u arent going anywhere NEAR mic until u are completely cleaned and have a full makeover HGVJBHJ) and i feel like this absolutely can all be seen platonically too!! that was how i saw it at first and it is what i believe was the original intentions of their characters- (for soap i mean, tacomic i firmly believe is canon) but its just really cute to imagine them all together Okay im. done yapping now.
