Lexa and Clarke’s Quarters in the Polis Tower
I became curious as to where Lexa and Clarke’s quarters were situated within the Polis Tower after realizing that Clarke’s room is directly under the throne room (x).
This is what I came up with:
1. Lexa’s quarters face due West. This theory is based on the following image of Abby and Kane watching the sunset from Lexa’s room in Season 3 Episode 3 while waiting for Clarke.
Yes, the couch is missing. But the chair that Clarke sits to draw Lexa in is visible (albeit in the wrong location) as are the easel and multi-shelf candle holder.
2. Clarke’s quarters face South. I base this assumption on two images:
In this still of Lexa standing atop her tower in Season 3 Episode 2, it is at the end of the day. The shadows on Lexa’s face indicate that the sun is setting to her right (the viewers’ left). If the sun is setting on Lexa’s right, that direction is West. Therefore, directly in front of her is where South lies.
In the same episode as the above photo, the camera pulls back from Lexa on the balcony. The light reflected on the windows on the tower’s left (Lexa’s right) further indicate that the sun is dipping towards the Western Horizon on that side of the tower.

Clexa moodboard - My attempt at the Strangers on a train challenge.
For @anonbemetoo 😁
Lexa is returning home from her final tour of Afghanistan and Clarke is the cute blonde she sees who barely makes it onto the train in time. Now, not being able to focus on her book, Lexa quietly watches the flustered blonde find a seat and start sketching.
When the blonde finally looks up and they catch one another’s eye. Clarke realises she’s is a sucker for a woman in uniform. Books and sketching are soon forgotten and the rest they say is history…
