Been really inactive the past couple weeks… or months? Lost my perception of time passage to be honest.
The puns I posted here and my less family friendly blog @soberalois were queued to test an issue I’ve been having in regards to notifications. This was an issue before I went inactive and it is still an issue now.
Often I won’t see if someone reblogged my post or if I have received a private message unless I go to the activity feed of a specific blog and even then it’s unreliable. I’ll look at it and it will be empty but if I refresh the page on PC or reopen the app on my phone I’ll see two to three day old responses that simply did not show up at first glance and definitely didn’t show up as a notification.
However, this seems to be an issue for every blog save for one with even my primary account having the same issues. What’s strange is that that blog has actually been banned from receiving or sending messages for reasons never explained to me.
Now I’m not a programmer and I have no idea why this is happening but I will be investigating as I know people have attempted to engage with me. The reason I haven’t responded was because I only noticed days after the attempts.
To close, I will be trying to be more active and I will be more diligent in my responses while I contact support about this. At the very least you will see more puns in the near future.
