I was looking at the course syllabus for SOC101Y1, and under "Required Items", it listed a "remote control device". Why do I need this? What does it do? Thanks. =)
It's probably talking about the iClicker which is about $35 to buy I believe and less to rent (but it's probably better to just buy it) it's just a device to use to answer questions, kind of like a buzzer but it's silent and each student has to get their own and register their own clicker under their name so they get credit for their answers. It'll be explained more in class and you'll understand it better when you use it.
