Vicchan’s death HC
You know how Yuuri was told the day before his Sochi free skate about Vicchan’s death? Now if Vicchan had already died i believe his family, who already knows about his anxiety, self confidence issues and how much he loves Vicchan, would have waited till the free skate was over to tell him the news. But that is not what happened
So I have an ultra sad headcannon that they had to put Vicchan to sleep in the evening/night before the free skate. Yuuri hadn’t met Vicchan face to face in 5 years and I think they all realised that he would forever regret not being able to say goodbye to Vicchan and so they called him and he face timed/ Skyped with them in the final moments. And he saw his childhood pet whom he hadn’t met for 5 years die in front of him (maybe because he insisted he wanted to be with him when he passed away and not just say goodbye).
And yes Yuuri bombed that years GPF and the entire season, but not once did he regret seeing his dog for the last time and he would never change that decision even if given a choice to do it all over again.
