Working Moms Don’t Get The Appreciation They Deserve
Handling kids and business together for Working Moms
I used to work before my marriage and wanted to work after my marriage as well. My husband has a family business of ready-made clothes. I was a very young mother of two kids with a big joint family. I had to wait until my younger child started going to school to get back to our family business.
Family is always there for the support
My in-laws knew that I used to work before marriage so they never objected. But I was asked to manage the house chores and the work together. It wasn’t difficult when we were living together as a joint family. But when we shifted to our own house I knew it was going to be difficult. My husband used to help me in small things but the entire responsibility was on my head. From cleaning to cooking and shopping.
Never got appreciated for my efforts
There were times when I felt like giving up and staying at home. Mostly when people don’t consider me as a working partner with my husband, Even my own family sees me as a help to my husband. But I have never let these things affect my mental peace, I know I have worked as much as my husband to get success in our business. That is enough for me.
