I started my webcomic Socializing101 in 2015 and posted the last episode today... I honestly never expected to ever finish it but I’m really proud of myself, I’ve drawn many comics but I’ve never managed to ever finish one. I started it when I was 19 in Uni, now I’m 26 and working as a full time graphic designer, while S101 was always my side project it definitely got me through many difficult times, I had pretty bad art burn out for a few years after graduating uni in 2018 but that somehow didn’t affect my work on the comic, I barely drew any illustrations or sketches outside the comic though. I honestly believe it kept me drawing because even when I was burned out from creating illustrations I still enjoyed drawing S101.

I don’t know how many follow me on here for S101 but either way I really appreciate your support, thank you so much!

2015 vs 2018

Redrew my webcomic icon I drew back in 2015 when I started my comic, I haven’t changed the icon for like 3 years so I felt like redrawing it might be a great update to it!

It’s a slow-romance that mostly focuses on friendships and relationships both the good and bad. Mihai is intimidating and socially awkward with undiagnosed social anxiety who meets someone the exact opposite of him, social and out-going Adilene who seems to be hiding her own baggage.

Mihai’s a socialy awkward bean and Adilene’s not helping at the moment. I’m not sure how much these work out of context but I wanted to try and post a few panels that were cute or funny and make my tumblr more about my characters and comic. Reuploaded due to a mistake! Colour and lighting test on oc profiles! Which is your fav? I figured i needed some new profile pics for my ocs, chose like a main colour that i felt matched the character and i wasn’t gonna add all this shading but i wanted to experiment and have fun with different palettes a little!

Stress. Trying something a little different by using photoshop watercolour brushes, what do you think? Its so different from the way i normally colour but its a fun little experiment, i want a simpler way to colour my smaller sketches and drawings rather than my usual and i've made a few of these digital water colour drawings (you'll find them in my posts) felt i should try them with my pencil drawing.
