I just read an amazing meta a few days ago that very convincingly explained society's effect on Bakugou's personality and how, due to his very powerful quirk, there's a real chance he didn't have any other option than to be a hero; and also how his control over his quirk is very underrated, considering that he's a human bomb.
Unfortunately, I couldn't find it again despite many google searches...so could you please direct me if you've stumbled upon that particular post or something similar?
Unfortunately what you are describing is not ringing any bells for anything I’ve read, but I’d be interested to see it.
Since so much of the manga is tied up in pointing out the cause-and-effect of nature and nurture clashing, I think there’s a lot to say there - especially since Katsuki’s drive to “be number one” can really be taken to mean more than one thing when dissected.
…has anyone else seen this?
