“When’s the last time you slept?”

“When was the last time I saw you?” Alice had no idea when she last slept, but she knew it was before she had seen him. She was sure that she needed sleep, physically, mentally she could go for much longer. Her sense of time was off, and she knew it, she had nothing that she could base it off of not really. “It was before the last time I saw you.” There was no sense of worry in her voice, it was fact, she was still alive so it could not have been too problematic. She was not even sure the last time she had moved from this spot.

“Out.” It was simple, she felt stuck, and it was as if there was something crawling under her skin just being here. Alice needed to get out, it wasn’t a want. She had no idea why Quentin was keeping her here, and why Mayakovsky was going along with it. She could not get herself out of here and she did not know if the rest of them realized she was alive. “I don’t belong here.”

E’ che dentro sono un fiume limpido che scorre libero in direzione del mare. Il tragitto è lungo e tortuoso, ma scivolata lungo paesaggi mozzafiato, raccogliendo nettare e poesia. Potrei innamorarmi solo di chi può scorrermi accanto, senza sopraffarmi. Liberi di lasciarci per qualche miglia, per poi fonderci in una cascata a valle, dove nasce un lago incantato… così, fino al mare.
